A RESOUNDING SUCCESS - THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED

This show enjoyed a lengthy run and ended on September 30th. Thanks to the Main Laman Library Gallery which served as the host venue.

2026 WINNERS SHOW - COMING SOON
KEEP AN EAR OUT FOR NEWS REGARDING THE ARKANSAS LEAGUE OF ARTISTS' ANNUAL WINNERS SHOW COMING IN DECEMBER, 2026
This event is a gallery showing at the Hayes Center in NLR for all those ALA MEMBERS who have won ribbons for 1st thru 6th place during the year at each of our monthly meetings. This is a friendly competitive event where members vote on six of their favorite art pieces that members have entered into the competition with the accolades being a ribbon award and the opportunity to hang a piece (or pieces) of their artwork in the Hayes Gallery showing at the end of the year.
Monetary awards will be granted for Best in Show; 1st Place; 2nd Place; and 3rd Place w/ 3 non-monetary Honorable Mention Awards given out.
So, set your calendars for December 11th, 2026 for the opening reception at the Hayes Center. More details to follow as we get closer to the date.
Some Quick Info About our meetings:
We typically meet at 6 pm on the last Tuesday of each month at the North Little Rock Community Center: 2700 Willow Street, directly across from the Hayes Center.
During these meetings we usually have a guest artist who provides a demonstration or a presentation of helpful tips and insights to inspire both the novice and accomplished artist.
We also hold a monthly art competition, so bring a recent piece of your artwork to share with the group. By entering, you get a chance to win one of 6 ribbon awards given to those artworks most admired by virtue of votes cast by members present.
Each winner then gets to display their artwork in a high-trafficked local business venue for the entire following month.
These venues include: The Art Group Gallery in WLR'S Pleasant Ridge Towne Center; The Draft and Table restaurant in NLR's Argenta District; Buenos Aires Restaurant in LR's River Market area; The renowned Lindsay's Hospitality House and BBQ in NLR; Pyramid Art Books/Hearn Gallery & Custom Framing near Downtown Little Rock; and, the prestigious Red Door Gallery in NLR's Park Hill District.
Each location provides an excellent opportunity to get your work "out there" for viewing by the greater public eye. (Make sure you have your art at the meeting before the voting begins at 6 pm.)
